CRAZY WEEK!

Last week was CRAZY! Monday we were able to chill and get some stuff around the house to prepare for the week. Tuesday we went to the Barrios with the Lenamon's for dinner and fellowship. It was great getting to know each of them. Wednesday evening we had Jim's Christmas party for work. We got all dressed up for a nice dinner at the Coronado Club. There was a fabulous 5 course meal: appetizers, poblano soup, salad, crab cakes and a petite filet, and chocolate molten cake. We ate way to much but it was delicious! Majority of Jim's co workers are our age so it is really fun to hang out and catch up with everyone. Thursday I went to an early dinner with my office for a Christmas get together then left about 6 pm. I ran home to pick up Jim so we could meet another couple to take them to dinner and show them around Houston. Very random but my moms best friend from college Julie, Julie's other best friends son and girlfriend are moving to Houston all the way from Michigan and Indiana. Julie hooked us up with them while they were in town for a bit to find places to live. We had a BLAST with the two of them. They were so easy to get along with. We definitely found some awesome new friends! Cant wait until they move here in May. Friday I took a half day to just get our house together and pack for the 10 days of traveling to be with family. Friday evening we left for Dallas... next post Christmas with the Streight family!
