Indiana

After moving into our house July 4th weekend, I flew up to Indianapolis and met my mom up there to visit my grandparents from July 10th to July 13th. My grandparents have lived in the same house for nearly their entire marriage, but this past year decided to build a house! It has been an extremely fun and exciting experience for them. They are in a neighborhood with beautiful homes and little upkeep.

Thursday my mom, grandma and I woke up to hang out with my cousins for a bit. We then headed to the northside of town to visit some old friends. My friend Christina just had a baby so we got to him. His name is Conlan. He is so CUTE! Then we met my mom's best friend from Kentucky for dinner. The best part of this day was my dad flying in at midnight to suprise my mom for the weekend. She was completely suprised.

Friday was a very exiciting day. My 5 year old cousin Emma wanted to get her ears pierced while my mom and I were in town! We headed to Libby Lous where the event would occur. She was a little hesitant at first, but in a short time she had gorgeous rainbow jeweled flower earrings! Since she was such a good sport my mom bought her glittery makeup and fake nails to put on. We were stars the rest of the weekend. This was also a great day because my best friend from my childhood came to visit for the day. It was wonderful to catch up with her! We are still so much alike! Shatto, I miss you!

Saturday my grandparents had both of my uncles and their families over for the traditional FOLEY FISH FRY! YUMMY! My grandpa goes on a fishing trip to Canada every year and brings back tons of Walleye filets. I definitly pushed my limits and ate way to much. It was a fun day of visiting and playing with my cute little cousins.

I had a wonderful trip and wish I lived closer! Love you family.
